With care
What we keep, who sees it, and how to have it removed.
When you use the contact form we keep the name, email address and message you typed, so we can reply and tell you about gatherings. We do not sell these messages or pass them to advertisers.
We use one advertising and measurement service, Meta (Facebook and Instagram), to see which gatherings people heard about from an ad and to show our ads to people who are likely to be interested.
Where it runs, Meta receives: which pages of our site you viewed and in what order, the time of the visit, the web address you came from, your device, browser and operating system, a coarse screen and window size, your IP address, and a Meta advertising identifier stored in your browser. It uses this for two purposes: measuring our ads, and optimising who sees them.
We do not send Meta your name, email address, phone number or any contact message.
Visitors from Ireland, the European Union, the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland are never loaded with the Meta pixel — no cookie is set and no visit is reported for them. Your country is read once from a technical lookup at the edge of our hosting (the loc value from a same-origin request to /cdn-cgi/trace), and only that two-letter country code is used in the browser. If that lookup fails, is slow, or cannot tell where you are, the pixel stays off.
Outside the regions above, you can stop the pixel at any time: turn on your browser's Global Privacy Control (the globalPrivacyControl setting, in the privacy section of Chrome, Edge, Firefox or Brave) and this site will not load Meta's code on your next visit. You can also clear this site's cookies, or block connect.facebook.net in a tracker blocker.
Meta also lets you control its advertising separately, whatever website you are on: Facebook ad preferences, and its privacy policy.
To have a contact message deleted, write to info@medicinemusic.ie and we will remove it.
